Duke Island Park Hosts Weekly Walkers

For those whose New Year’s Resolutions include losing weight, dieting and/or exercise, the Somerset County Park Commission can offer some assistance.

Individuals looking for brisk weekly walk are invited to join a weekly walking group that meets every Wednesday at 9:30 A.M. at the Duke Island Visitor’s Center in Bridgewater for a healthy walk through Duke Island Park along a beautiful stretch of the Raritan River.

Coffee, tea, and treats will be provided, but those who are trying to diet might want to avoid the treats.
