BRIDGEWATER, NJ – The Atlantic League of Professional Baseball playoff matchups have been finalized, and the schedules have been announced as well.

Both the Freedom and Liberty Division Championship Series will begin on Tuesday, Sept. 18th, with the Atlantic League Championship Series getting underway on Tuesday, Sept 25th.

The best-of-five Freedom Division Championship Series will see the Sugar Land Skeeters, who claimed both the first and second half championships, take on the Lancaster Barnstormers, who enter the playoffs as a wild card entrant.

The series marks the team's first postseason matchup since they met in the 2014 Atlantic League Championship Series. Games One and Two of the series will be hosted by the Lancaster Barnstormers at Clipper Magazine Stadium in Lancaster, Pa. on Tuesday, Sept.18th and Wednesday, Sept.19th. Games Three, Four (if necessary) and Five (if necessary) will be played at Constellation Field in Sugar Land, Texas on Friday, Sept. 21st, Saturday, Sept. 22nd and Sunday, Sept. 23rd.

The first half champion Somerset Patriots will take on the second half champion Long Island Ducks in the best-of-five Liberty Division Championship Series. This marks the fourth consecutive season in which the two teams will match up in the first round of the postseason.

The Ducks will host Games One and Two at Bethpage Ballpark in Central Islip, N.Y. on Tuesday, Sept. 18th and Wednesday, Sept. 19th. The series will then shift to TD Bank Ballpark in Bridgewater, N.J. for Games Three, Four (if necessary) and Five (if necessary). Those games will be held on Friday, Sept. 21st, Saturday, Sept. 22nd and Sunday, Sept. 23rd.

The winners of each series will then go on to meet in the best-of-five Atlantic League Championship Series. Games One and Two of the series will be hosted by the Freedom Division champion on Tuesday, Sept. 25th and Wednesday, Sept. 26th. Following a day off, the Liberty Division champion will then host Games Three, Four (if necessary) and Five (if necessary) on Friday, Sept. 28th, Saturday, Sept. 29th and Sunday, Sept. 30th.
