NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - An FBI Special Agent has has been charged with photographing a 22-year woman in a dressing room at an Edison clothing store without her consent.
Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey and Chief Thomas Bryan of the Edison Police Department said Danuel S. Brown, 30, of Piscataway, a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation - New York Field Office, was arrested and charged on July 19 with one count of invasion of privacy in the fourth degree.
Police responded to a 911 call from the victim who told police she had confronted the suspect who she said had been taking pictures of her changing clothes.
Brown identified himself as a law enforcement officer, according to the woman.
An investigation by Detective Loren Long of the Edison Police Department and Detective Allie Bitterman from the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s office determined that Brown placed his cell phone underneath the dressing room door and took multiple photographs of the victim.
Brown is being held at the Middlesex County Adult Corrections Center pending an initial court appearance in New Brunswick.
