SOMERVILLE, NJ – The Immaculata High School Jazz Ensemble and a display of tricked-out bicycles by the New Jersey Devils Bicycle Club helped launch the summer long Friday Cruise Nights in downtown Somerville.

Vintage, classic and custom cars were lined up on both sides of Main Street from Bridge Street west to Doughty Street, more than 100 hot rods, convertibles, exotics and odd balls covering the full spectrum of colors, from pumpkin orange and cherry apple red to Robin’s egg blue and canary yellow.

The jazz band performed at one end of the Division Street pedestrian mall near Post Office Plaza, while the two-wheelers were at the other end close to Main Street and the cars.
