Hillsborough: Steps Together Team Raises Funds for Medical Expenses

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ - The Steps Together team will participate in the Steeplechase Distance Walk & Run on Sept. 24 at the Amsterdam School.

The team will be raising funds for local families impacted by a medical crisis while also supporting the Cancer Center at RWJ-Somerset in Somerville, participating in any one of several events, including a 2- Mile Walk, 5K, 10K or Sprints for Kids 2 to 11.

The Steeplechase Distance Run/Walk this year added special pricing for those 15 and under across all events. This has allowed Steps Together to reduce the team price for those 15 and under to $25.

The Steps Together united walking/running team each year endorses local beneficiaries and creates a united walking and running team to raise funds on their behalf.

This is a rain or shine event.

Registration begins at 7:30 a.m.

Schedule of Events: 10K Run, 8:45 a.m.; 5K Run, 9:30 a.m.; 2-mile walk, 9:30 a.m.; Kids Sprints, 10:45 a.m., Awards, 11 a.m.
