SOMERVILLE, NJ - The Somerset County Department of Health Monday reported 18,217 positive tests for the COVID-19 virus, an increase of 62 cases overnight, with 683 COVID-19 deaths reported since March 8.

The New Jersey Department of Health on Monday reported a total of 704,362 positive cases of the coronavirus since the pandemic began its spread in the state 351 days ago, an increase of 2,637 overnight. The death toll in New Jersey is 20,942, an increase of 21 overnight.

There have been 10,503,667 COVID-19 tests administered in New Jersey.

Somerville has had a total of 808 COVID-19 cases since March, with a total of 15 COVID-19 related deaths.

The number of COVID-19 cases worldwide is 114,582,646 including 2,545,435 deaths, according to the federal Centers for Disease Control & Prevention on Monday morning, with 29,259,111 cases in the United States and 525,795 deaths.

The SCDOH confirmed the deaths of 202 Franklin Township residents; 89 in Hillsborough/Millstone; 101 in Bridgewater; 47 in Bernards Township; 50 in North Plainfield; 35 in Green Brook; 15 in Watchung; 22 in Raritan; 22 in Bound Brook; 18 in Warren; 18 in Manville; 15 in Somerville; 19 in Montgomery; 9 in Branchburg; 5 in Bedminster; 5 in Bernardsville; 4 in South Bound Brook; 4 in Peapack-Gladstone and 1 in Rocky Hill and 1 in Far Hills.
