BRIDGEWATER, NJ – The Somerset Patriots (4-1, 42-33) defeated the Lancaster Barnstormers (2-2, 36-37) 4-3 in ten innings at TD Bank Ballpark on Friday night.

In the tenth inning, Mycal Jones singled, stole second, and after an intentional walk to Eric Farris, a double steal put runners on second and third. David Vidal was intentionally walked to load the bases when Bryan LaHair plated Jones with an RBI fielder’s choice.

“It all started with the guys getting on base in front of me,” said LaHair. “With a man on third with less than two outs, I’m just trying to hit the ball hard and put the ball in play.”
