WARREN, NJ - Watchung Hills defeated the Somerville Pioneers in the first round of the Somerset County Tournament on Saturday, 79-44.

Watchung Hills took commanding lead in the second half, outscoring Somerville 24-14 in the third and 27-16 in the fourth period.

Dan Pilsbury led the Warriors with 19 points. Ryan Keller added 16 points, Steven Bressler chipped in 15 points, freshman Michael Bressler added six, Noah Allen, Brian Leon and Drew Taylor each sunk five points, Lucas Stasil added four, and Kenny Hsueh and Brad Pinho each chipped in two points.

"Big week...survive and advance," said WHRHS head coach Justin Salton.  "Hopefully we can put it all together on Tuesday and upset North Plainfield. Great efforts tonight, especially in the second half."
