WARREN, NJ – Township police and the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office need the public's help in identifying a bank robbery suspect who escaped from the TD Bank on Mountain Boulevard with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The robbery occurred at 2:15 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, according to Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson.
A man described as six feet tall, with a dark beard and glasses entered the bank wearing a dark polo shirt, dark pants and a baseball cap demanding money from the bank teller. The bank teller turned over the money to the suspect and he left the bank without incident.
Warren Township police responded to the bank along with detectives from the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Crime Scene Investigation Unit to process the scene. Authorities have released surveillance footage of the suspect in an attempt to generate leads in addition to photos of the suspected getaway vehicle, identified as a 2016-18 black Acura ILX with tinted windows.
