Police Searching for Missing 51-Year-Old Man Along River

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Bridgewater Township Police are continuing their search for a missing 51-year-old man in the area of Duke Island Park, according to an alert sent out at 3 a.m. Saturday morning, and again at 9 a.m.

The New Jersey State Police NorthStar helicopter circled over the area early Saturday morning with its searchlight in an attempt to locate the man, described as possibly wearing a dark colored t-shirt and light-colored jeans. Police said he man was barefoot.

Anyone who sees someone matching that description near the area of Duke Island Park, near the Raritan River or on the opposite bank in Hillsborough, is asked to call 911.
