Primary Election Tuesday, June 5


SOMERVILLE, NJ - The Primary Election is Tuesday, June 5th. Polls will be open from 6 a.m.- 8 p.m.

Sample ballots were mailed last month by the Board of Elections; refer to your ballot for your polling location in Somerville.

Somerset County voters can still apply for a mail-in ballot for the primary election if they bring their application to the County Clerk's office by 3 p.m. on Monday, June 4th. Applications for mail-in ballots are available online or at the County Clerk’s Office, located in the lobby of the County Administration Building at 20 Grove St., Somerville.

The County Clerk's Office will be open on Saturday, June 2nd, from 9 a.m.-noon in addition to its normal weekday hours. 

Completed mail-in ballots can be mailed to the Somerset County Election Board, P.O. Box 3000, Somerville NJ 08876. Ballots also can be dropped off at the Board of Elections, located next to the County Clerk’s Office in the County Administration Building. Mail-In ballots can be returned until the polls close at 8 p.m. on election night.
