Route 202/206 South at Route 22 to be Closed Friday After Early Morning Crash

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The Somerville Circle is currently inaccessible from Route 202/206 South after a motor vehicle crash early Friday morning took out two utility poles.

According to Bridgewater Township Police, a 2003 Chevrolet Suburban driven by Telemacho Ousouljoglou, 59, of Bridgewater, was traveling south on Route 202/206 at 3 a.m. when the vehicle left the roadway and hit two utility poles.

There are no reported injuries from the crash at this point.

Bridgewater Township Police Lt. Michael Maxwell said there are no reports of power issues in the area of the accident.

The roadway is expected to be closed for most of the day. All traffic is being diverted to Route 22 West, as Route 202/206 South is closed at Route 22.

In addition, the Route 22 West ramp for Route 202/206 South is also closed.
