SOMERVILLE, NJ - More than one dozen musicians will perform at the Dragonfly Music & Coffee Cafe Sunday, Oct. 22 to help raise donations for hurricane relief in Puerto Rico.

The U.S. island territory, home to more than 3.6 million, is still reeling from the one-two punch of back-to-back Category 5 hurricanes. First Irma, followed by Marie, tore into the island 10 days apart, causing widespread flooding, devastating the island's infrastructure and destroying tens of thousands of homes.

Despite tons of aid pouring into the island from the mainland, residents are still without electricity and running water throughout most of the island, roughly the size of Connecticut.

Grass roots efforts to help the island recover continue to raise money and donate supplies in New Jersey and throughout the country.

The Dragonfly, 14 E. Main St., is a popular destination for those looking for a quiet respite, handcrafted coffee and homemade food, desserts - and music.

The five-hour benefit begins at noon and will feature John Wilkey, Troy Etienne, Gerard Dutka, Joe Canzano, Peter Prasa, DDA, Phil Liebergal, Keith Beck, Bread and Circus, Bonk Percussion Group and A Halo Called Fred.

Suggested donation is $10. All proceeds will benefit Habitat for Humanity of Puerto Rico. Further information is available online at habitatpr.org/en or call The Dragonfly at (908) 393-4993.
