Westfield remained undefeated, improving to 7-0 with a win over Ithe Spartans, 23-6.  The Spartans are now 4-3 on the season.

Westfield scored first with a 14-yard touchdown run in the first quarter to take the lead   6-0.  Later in the second quarter, Westfield's powerful ground game again moved the ball well and deep into Spartan territory.  The drive finished with a 2 yard run and successful 2-point conversion to take 14-0 , ending the first half.

The Spartans adjusted to stop the run and Westfield turned to the air with a touchdown pass to go up 21-0 in the fourth quarter.  After a series of punts by both teams, the Spartans offense clicked and put together a solid drive capped off by a Nate Barnett 2 yard touchdown run that put the Spartans on the board.

Late in the game the Spartans were caught in their own end zone for a 2-point safety,

Immaculata returns to action next Friday, visiting the Montgomery Cougars.
