JERSEY CITY, NJ - The 5th Seeded Immaculata Spartans defeated a tough 4th seed Hudson Catholic team 10-6 Friday night in the bitter cold.

The Spartans now move on to face the winner of the Saint Mary's vs Saint Joseph's of Hammonton game played Saturday  in the second round of the NJSIAA playoffs.  

Defense was the name of the game in the hard fought contest.

Immaculata held a slim 7-6 lead at halftime.

The only score of the second half came on a 27-yard field goal by kicker Zach Helleis.
