“This study is part of a comprehensive planning program that will guide us as we seek to leverage Somerset County’s considerable assets and make strategic investments to support  redevelopment and targeted growth areas,” said Freeholder Director Patricia Walsh.

The first public meeting will include:

·        An overview of the Phase 3 Study

·        A review of the study areas and the findings of the market assessment report

·        A discussion of next steps

Attendees will have the opportunity to speak one-on-one with Somerset County Planning Division staff and members of the consultant team.

This year-long study is funded through a Sub-Regional Studies Program grant from the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority.  Previous phases of this study received an Achievement in Planning Award from the New Jersey Planning Officials.
