Somerville Shoppers Get an Early Present from Santa: Free Parking


SOMERVILLE, NJ - The Borough is providing "Free Holiday Parking" on Saturday's during the 2016 Holiday Season through New Years' Day.

The following municipal parking lots will offer free parking to holiday shoppers on Saturdays:

Parking Lot 1 - Entrance off of Maple Street and North Davenport Street

Parking Lot 2 - Entrance off of North Doughty Ave and North Davenport Street.  

Parking Lot 6 - Entrance off of North Bridge Street

Parking Lot 7- Entrance off of East High Street

Normal parking regulations and enforcement remain in effect at the following locations Monday-Saturday from 9 a.m.-8 p.m.

Parking Lot 4 - Entrance off of South Street and Union Street.  This lot will be enforced on Saturday's from 9 a.m.-8 p,m.  Parking is $1 per hour.  

All Main Street parking meters are operational during the holiday season

Enforcement times for Main Street meters is Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Main Street meters are $1 per hour.

The new on-street parking meters accept coins,credit cards and debit cards for payment.
