SOMERVILLE, NJ - The United Reformed Church will host a Sunday School Open House this Sunday, Jan. 29 for families thinking of enrolling their children in September.

United Reformed Church's Sunday School program teaches children to love and serve others, according to Pastor Paul Janssen.

"The Bible says, "We love, because God loves us first." That's the first thing we teach our children: that God loves them more than they will ever know. But the Bible also teaches us to love God and to love our neighbors as ourselves. So each week we open up a Bible story that strengthens our love for God and each other. Then, we go beyond just talking, and act out our faith by serving others, within the church and within the community," Janssen explained.
