Ugly Sweaters Encouraged for Somerville Holiday Spirits Pub Crawl

SOMERVILLE, NJ – There are a limited number of tickets available for the first annual Holiday Spirits Pub Crawl on Saturday, Dec. 16, with stops at four bars and restaurants in the downtown area.

“We expect everyone to come dressed up as their favorite holiday characters, or sporting their worst ugly sweater,” said Mike Proske, owner of Project P.U.B, and organizer of the event.

Tickets are $10 and must be purchased online at eventbrite.com.

Several hundred people are expected.

Project PUB will donate a portion of all ticket sales and a portion of what is made at the bar to the US Marine Reserves Toys for Tots annual holiday drive.

Revelers will meet on the corner of Division and Main streets at 8:30 p.m.  Wristbands and I.D. checks will be done before groups head out for their first stop where they will spread holiday cheer with spirits and beer.

There will be drink specials and giveaways throughout the crawl and live music.

The stops will include Mannion's Pub & Restaurant, 150 W. Main St.; McCormick's Restaurant, 65  E. Main St.; Project P.U.B, 41 N. Bridge St., and Verve Restaurant and Bistro, 18 E. Main St.
