SOMERVILLE, NJ – Somerset County has been selected as the Best County to Raise a Family in New Jersey by Stacker.com, a quality-of-life, data-driven website, which selected the top county in each state based on their review of diversity, populations, abundant natural recreational beauty, education and other benchmarks.
“I completely agree with Stacker, which is why I choose to raise my family here in Somerset County,” said Freeholder Director Shanel Robinson, who lives in Franklin Township. “We work hard to make sure every resident of Somerset County’s diverse community can enjoy the amenities and services we all need to raise strong, healthy families.”
Freeholder Brian Gallagher, former Somerville mayor and longtime resident of the borough, posted his reaction on Facebook:

In naming Somerset County as the top county in NJ for raising a family, Stacker wrote:
