Win $50 in 'Somerville Snowstorm Photo Contest' Sponsored by the SBPA

SOMERVILLE, NJ – Be sure to take lots of pictures during and right after this weekend’s snowstorm – you might win $50.

The Somerville Business & Professional Association is sponsoring a "Snowstorm Photo Contest," and encourages borough residents to snap lots of pictures this weekend. Use your imagination – building snowmen; shoveling the front walk; neighborhoods covered by snow; digging out the car; tree limbs heavy with snow; dogs running around in the backyard; birds hunkered down in an evergreen; plows pushing snow down the street; icicles hanging off the roof; kids bundled up against the cold – there are so many possibilities.

Send your photos to the TAP into Somerville local news website where they will be displayed along with other entries at www.tapinto.net/towns/somerville. The winning entry will also be displayed on Facebook at www.Facebook.com/TapintoSomerville.

Visit the website often to see Somerville covered in snow - make sure to tell you friends, neighbors, and family. Like and Share the photos on Facebook.

Entries must include the name of the photographer, e-mail address, street address and phone number. Information should also be provided as to the location of the photo, and the names of individuals in the photo. All photos must be taken in Somerville only.

All photos must be submitted online using the jpeg format. Send entries to: rhirsch@tapinto.net. Please, one submission/one photo per e-mail address.

Tap into Somerville will accept entries through 6 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 28. The winner will be announced on the TAP into Somerville website on Monday, Feb. 1.
