SOMERVILLE, NJ - Three candidates have filed with the Somerset County Board of Elections to run as candidates for the Somerville Board of Education. 

Monday was the filing deadline for school board elections statewide which will be held the same day as the general elections, Nov. 5.

Filing for the three, 3-year terms in Somerville are longtime school board members Linda Olson, 198 W. Summit St., and Luc Sergile, 46 Steele Ave. Olson has served as president, while Sergile has been board vice-president.

Also filing was William Kimmick, 56 Sycamore St., who ran unsuccessfully for a seat on the board in the 2018 school board election.
