SOMERVILLE, NJ - The Somerset County Department of Health Sunday update shows 11 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the borough, with a total of 290 cases in Somerset County, and eight deaths caused by complications of COVID-19.
Somerset County reported 36 new cases and two deaths overnight.
The Somerset County Department of Health has confirmed the deaths of three North Plainfield residents, two Franklin residents; a Hillsborough resident, a Bedminister resident and a Bridgewater resident.
Here is the latest breakdown of confirmed cases by town: Bedminster, 7; Bernardsville Borough, 11; Bernards Township, 18; Branchburg, 17; Bridgewater, 44; Bound Brook, 6: Franklin, 60; Green Brook, 4; Hillsborough, 34; Manville, 10; Millstone, 2; Montgomery, 14; North Plainfield, 16; Peapack-Gladstone, 2; Raritan, 3; Rocky Hill, 1; Somerville, 11; South Bound Brook, 4; Warren, 17; Watchung, 12.
No cases have been reported in Far Hills.
Statewide, there is a total of 13,386 cases, an increase of 2,316 overnight, with the statewide death toll now at 161, an increase of 21 overnight, according to the state Department of Health.
Statewide, there is a total of 22.216 negative test results reported by the state-run and private laboratories, according to the NJDOH.
