Volunteers Needed to Assemble Care Packages for US Troops Overseas

BRIDGEWATER, NJ  - Volunteers are needed to assemble personal care packages that will be shipped to US troops deployed around the world on Saturday, July 22, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at TD Bank Ballpark.

The Somerset Patriots and Operation Shoebox New Jersey will host the event; members of the Patriots are expected to help out packing boxes.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ – Army veteran Sais Singh, a 1993 graduate of Somerville High School and former resident of Branchburg, was invited to TD Bank Ballpark Friday night by the Somerset Patriots to throw out the ceremonial first pitch before the start of the game.

TRENTON, NJ – Homeless veterans will benefit from legislation sponsored by Hunterdon County Assemblyman Erik Peterson that would allow residents to purchase Support Our Veterans license plates.

Zwicker Hosts Claims Clinic for Military Veterans

MONTGOMERY, NJ - Assemblyman Andrew Zwicker, D-16th along with the Department of Veterans Affairs and other veterans organizations hosted a claims clinic for local veterans at his Skillman legislative office March 28th.

“Both my father and uncle were Army veterans who served during World War II, so veterans’ issues hold a personal significance for me,” said Zwicker.
