SOMERVILLE, NJ - A Highland Park resident faces multiple drug charges following a three-month investigation by Somerset County Prosecutor's Office detectives, according to Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson.
Isiah Daniels, 31, of River Road, Highland Park, faces charges of 2nd degree Possession of CDS (Heroin) with the Intent to Distribute, 2nd degree Distribution of Heroin, 3rd degree Distribution of Cocaine, and 4th degree Resisting Arrest by Flight. He has been lodged in the Somerset County Jail pending a bail detention hearing since his arrest Aug. 5, following a brief foot pursuit., according to Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Chief of County Detectives John W. Fodor, and Franklin Township Police Department Police Director Quovella M. Spruill.
The suspect was in possession of approximately 2,500 wax folds containing suspected heroin when arrested, according to Robertson. As the investigation continued, a total of 3,710 wax folds containing suspected heroin were seized as well as a quantity of cocaine under ½ ounce. The heroin seized during this investigation has an estimated street value of approximately $8,360.
