SOMERVILLE, NJ - The number of COVID-19 related deaths continues to climb, with 121 reported in Somerset County on Thursday, increasing by 16 overnight, and 3,518 in New Jersey, up from 3,156 on Wednesday, according to the Somerset County Department of Health.
There are 1,921 cases in Somerset County, according to statistics provided by the Somerset County Department of Health on Wednesday afternoon.
There are 59 cases in Somerville, according to the SCDOH; Somerset County reported 94 new cases overnight.
The SCDOH has confirmed the deaths of 40 Franklin Township residents; 26 in Bridgewater; 11 in Bernards Township, 10 in Green Brook; 7 in North Plainfield; 6 in Hillsborough, 5 in Warren; 3 in Bedminster; 3 in Bound Brook; 3 in Watchung. and one each in Peapack-Gladstone, Bernardsville, Branchburg, Manville, Montgomery, Somerville and South Bound Brook.
No COVID-19 deaths have been reported in Far Hills, Millstone, Raritan or Rocky Hill.

Statewide, there is a total of 75,317 cases, an increase of 4,287 overnight, with the statewide death toll now at 3,518, an increase of 362 overnight, according to the State Department of Health. Statewide there have been 76,513 negative test results.
