SOMERVILLE, NJ - The number of COVID-19 related deaths continues to climb, with 162 reported in Somerset County on Monday, increasing by 13 overnight, and 4,377 in New Jersey, up from 4,202 on Sunday, according to the Somerset County Department of Health.
There are 2.212 cases in Somerset County, according to statistics provided by the SCDOH, an increase of 68 overnight.
There are 67 cases in Somerville, with four deaths reported.
The SCDOH has confirmed the deaths of 50 Franklin Township residents; 31 in Bridgewater; 13 in Bernards Township, 13 in Green Brook; 10 in Hillsborough; 8 in North Plainfield; 7 in Warren; 7 in Bound Brook; 6 in Watchung; 4 in Somerville; 4 in Bedminster;; 2 in Manville, 2 in Raritan and one each in Peapack-Gladstone, Bernardsville, Branchburg, Montgomery, and South Bound Brook.
No COVID-19 deaths have been reported in Far Hills or Rocky Hill.

Statewide, there is a total of 88,806 cases, an increase of 3,505 overnight, with the statewide death toll now at 4.377, an increase of 175 overnight, according to the State Department of Health. Statewide there have been 89,251 negative test results.
