SOMERVILLE, NJ - The number of COVID-19 related deaths in Somerset County increased to 190 on Thursday, increasing by 12 overnight, with 5,368 in New Jersey, up from 5,063 on Wednesday, according to the Somerset County Department of Health.
There are 2.534 cases in Somerset County, according to statistics provided by the SCDOH, an increase of 80 overnight.
There are 83 cases in Somerville.
The SCDOH has confirmed the deaths of 61 Franklin Township residents; 37 in Bridgewater; 16 in Green Brook; 14 in Bernards Township, 11 in Hillsborough; 10 in North Plainfield; 8 in Warren; 8 in Watchung, 7 in Bound Brook; 5 in Somerville; 4 in Bedminster;; 3 in Raritan; 2 in Branchburg; 2 in Manville, and one each in Peapack-Gladstone, Bernardsville, Montgomery, and South Bound Brook.
No COVID-19 deaths have been reported in Far Hills or Rocky Hill.

Statewide, there is a total of 99.989 cases, an increase of 4,124 overnight, with the statewide death toll now at 5,368, an increase of 305 overnight, according to the State Department of Health. Statewide there have been 100,159 negative test results.
