SOMERVILLE, NJ - Downtown merchants are hosting a scavenger hunt/ bingo game to generate traffic on Main Street and business for those stores and restaurants that remain open despite the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The game starts now and ends Friday, April 24.

Participants have one week to score a bingo by completing the challenge and successfully filling in 4 tiles in a row on the game board found on the website www.somervilleathome.com.

Each of the tiles has a challenge or task that can be completed online, on foot, or in a vehicle. Remember, social distancing is part of the challenge, according to Natalie Pineiro, executive director of the Downtown Somerville Alliance.

Challenges include: Taking a fitness class online;; ordering clothing online; purchase a gift card; write a review of 3 open businesses; order a meal for a frontline hero; order curbside pick-up; order a drink online; follow 3 Somerville businesses on social media; find a sculpture downtown and others.

All tiles must be completed specific to Downtown Somerville businesses only.

All bingo cards successfully completed will be entered in to a prize drawing. 

Submit your BINGO tiles and proof (photos, receipts, screen shots) by Friday, April 24 to info@downtownsomerville.com
