The Rotary Fair has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars that are returned to the community through charitable contributions that fund local college scholarships, the Hillsborough food pantry, autism research, veterans organizations and many others.

The Rotary Fair features 21 amusement rides, a wide selection of food, a petting zoo, a variety of  games and displays by area vendors along with a fireworks display on Friday evening.

The Rotary Club dedicates one afternoon during the Rotary Fair exclusively for children with special needs and their families. Family Fun Day is an invitation only event where admission, special t-shirts, rides, food, games and prizes are free to special needs children and their families, including siblings. Music and lights are subdued as an accommodation to their special guests.
