SOMERVILLE, NJ - The Somerset County Department of Health reported a total of 3,182 coronavirus cases on Friday, with 273 COVID-19 related deaths, an increase of 6 overnight.
There are 96 cases in Somerville.
The pop-up COVID-19 testing site at Raritan Valley Community College in Branchburg was closed today; earlier this week, it conducted 80 tests on Monday and 48 on Wednesday. Since it began operations two weeks ago, the site has been open 7 times and conducted 605 tests. It will be open again on May 5 and May 7.
The SCDOH has confirmed the deaths of 80 Franklin Township residents; 44 in Bridgewater; 27 in Hillsborough; 26 in Bernards Township; 21 in Green Brook; 21 in North Plainfield;; 11 in Watchung; 11 in Warren; 8 in Bound Brook; 5 in Raritan; 4 in Somerville; 4 in Bedminster; 2 in Branchburg; 2 in South Bound Brook; 2 in Manville, 2 in Montgomery and one each in Peapack-Gladstone and Bernardsville.
No COVID-19 deaths have been reported in Far Hills or Rocky Hill.

Statewide, there is a total of 121,090 cases, an increase of 2.538 overnight, with 7,538 deaths reported, an increase of 310 since Thursday, according to the State Department of Health. Statewide there have been 129,266 negative test results.
There are 1,082,411 cases in the United States, with 63,127 deaths; worldwide, there are 3,303.2296 cases and 235.290 deaths, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
