SOMERVILLE, NJ - The Somerset County Department of Health reported a total of 3,364 coronavirus cases on Tuesday, with 309 COVID-19 related deaths, an increase of 12 overnight.

There are 101 cases in Somerville.

The pop-up COVID-19 testing site at Raritan Valley Community College in Branchburg will be open May 7. SCDOH has conducted 605 tests since it began operations two weeks ago.

The SCDOH has confirmed the deaths of 88 Franklin Township residents; 50 in Bridgewater; 32 in Hillsborough; 30 in Bernards Township; 26 in North Plainfield; 28 in Green Brook; 11 in Watchung; 11 in Warren; 11 in Bound Brook; 5 in Raritan; 5 in Somerville; 4 in Bedminster; 4 in Montgomery; 3 in Manville; 2 in Branchburg; 2 in South Bound Brook; and one each in Peapack-Gladstone and Bernardsville.

No COVID-19 deaths have been reported in Far Hills or Rocky Hill.

Statewide, there is a total of 130,593 cases, an increase of 2,324 overnight, with 8,244 deaths reported, an increase of 334 since Monday, according to the State Department of Health. Statewide there have been 157,030 negative test results.

There are 1,193,027 cases in the United States, with 70,115 deaths; worldwide, there are 3,630,942 cases and 254,592 deaths, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
