SOMERVILLE, NJ - The Somerset County Department of Health reported a total of 3,387 coronavirus cases on Wednesday, with 311 COVID-19 related deaths, an increase of 2 overnight.

There are 103 cases in Somerville.

The pop-up COVID-19 testing site at Raritan Valley Community College in Branchburg will be open May 7. SCDOH has conducted 605 tests since it began operations two weeks ago.

The SCDOH has confirmed the deaths of 89 Franklin Township residents; 51 in Bridgewater; 31 in Hillsborough; 30 in Bernards Township; 26 in North Plainfield; 28 in Green Brook; 11 in Watchung; 11 in Warren; 11 in Bound Brook; 5 in Raritan; 5 in Somerville; 4 in Bedminster; 4 in Montgomery; 4 in Manville; 2 in Branchburg; 2 in South Bound Brook; and one each in Peapack-Gladstone and Bernardsville.

No COVID-19 deaths have been reported in Far Hills or Rocky Hill.

Statewide, there is a total of 131,890 cases, an increase of 1,297 overnight, with 8,549 deaths reported, an increase of 305 since Tuesday, according to the State Department of Health. Statewide there have been 154,686 negative test results.

There are 1,216,739 cases in the United States, with 72,617 deaths; worldwide, there are 3,732,046 cases and 261,517 deaths, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
