SOMERVILLE, NJ - The COVID-19 death toll in New Jersey surpassed 9,000 overnight, with the Somerset County Department of Health reporting 327 deaths and a total of 3,539 coronavirus cases on Saturday.

There are 108 cases in Somerville.

The SCDOH has confirmed the deaths of 93 Franklin Township residents; 52 in Bridgewater; 37 in Bernards Township; 31 in Hillsborough; 28 in North Plainfield; 23 in Green Brook; 12 in Watchung; 12 in Warren; 11 in Bound Brook; 5 in Raritan; 5 in Somerville; 4 in Bedminster; 4 in Montgomery; 4 in Manville; 2 in Branchburg; 2 in South Bound Brook; and one each in Peapack-Gladstone and Bernardsville.

No COVID-19 deaths have been reported in Far Hills or Rocky Hill.

Here is the latest breakdown of confirmed cases by town: Bedminster, 34, Bernardsville Borough, 58; Bernards Township, 219; Branchburg, 73; Bridgewater, 419; Bound Brook, 261: Far Hills, 3; Franklin, 1.098; Green Brook, 126; Hillsborough, 268; Manville, 126;  Millstone, 2; Montgomery, 92; North Plainfield, 283; Peapack-Gladstone, 38; Raritan, 86; Rocky Hill, 5; Somerville, 108; South Bound Brook, 54; Warren, 104; Watchung, 77. 

Statewide, there is a total of 137,085 cases, an increase of 1,631 overnight, with 9,116 deaths reported, an increase of 164 since Friday, according to the State Department of Health.

There are 1,298,117 cases in the United States, with 78,320 deaths; worldwide, there are 3,996,177 cases and 277,399 deaths, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
