SOMERVILLE, NJ – Angelina Rivera is the latest small business owner to fulfill her dream and open a Main Street store.
Welcome to the Nailed It Do It Yourself Studio at 46 E. Main St., a space filled with stools, workbenches, hand tools and power tools, paints and other supplies needed to complete a variety of craft projects.
The store provides instructions, plans, and all the materials, from lumber and tools to work aprons, paints, sandpaper and fasteners
The Bridgewater resident is the first to open one of the franchised DIY stores in New Jersey, with the others scattered throughout the south.
The Downtown Somerville Alliance, Mayor Dennis Sullivan, and members of the Borough Council helped Rivera celebrate her grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony last week.
The store is on the ground floor of the five-story DeSapio building, in between two restaurants, Salted Lime and Earth, Surf and Turf, also scheduled for a grand opening this weekend.
