SOMERVILLE, NJ - The Somerville Pioneers scored at will Friday night against a hapless Gov. Livingston team, using a powerful running game and stellar defense on Seniors' Night to register a 63-8 win, improving to 7-1 on the season.

Running backs Tristan Garcia and Cookie Desiderio ran for a combined five touchtowns. Garcia made it in to the end zone twice and piled up 145 yards, while Desiderio rumbled for 125 yards and three touchdowns.

Though he threw only six passes, quarterback Justin Brenner made them count, including two touchdowns on 5/6 passing for a total of 103 yards. Ethan Hilliman caught two of those passes for 92 yards and two touchdowns; Ethan MacNair caught the other three passes for a total of 86 yards and one touchdown.
