After two consecutive years of conducting a successful carnival, the Noor-Ul-Iman School (NUI)
PTO is once again hosting its Annual Spring Carnival on May 10, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Sponsored by established businesses, including Crescent Foods and Urban Modesty, this family friendly event is open to the whole community.
The number of people who will attend from the local communities and beyond is expected to exceed 1,000.
Featured carnival attractions will include the rock climbing wall, a bungee run basketball competition, turbo tubs, swing rides, train rides, pony rides, an all-star obstacle course, a large bounce house, and many exciting carnival games created by students from the NUI Community Service Club.
Other attractions include a henna art station, a face painting station, and a balloon art station.
The carnival will feature more than 50 vendors that will host an array of products ranging from books, clothing, jewelry, perfume, accessories, scarves, and much more.
During the carnival, NUI's Community Service Club will be hosting a food drive for the Middlesex County Food Organization and Outreach Distribution Services (M.C.F.O.O.D.S).
M.C.F.O.O.D.S. collects and distributes non-perishable items at no cost to over 80 local food pantries and soup kitchens throughout Middlesex County.
NUI has been recognized as one of the most generous schools for collecting 1,150 pounds of food for M.C.F.O.O.D.S.
This event will take place on the campus of Noor-Ul-Iman School and Islamic Society of Central Jersey.
Parking will only be available at the South Brunswick High School, located at 750 Ridge Road, Monmouth Junction.
Shuttles will be running every 15 minutes to take people to and from the carnival.
