East Brunswick Birders Tally Species Next Saturday

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - Birding East Brunswick invites residents to join the group for their Annual East Brunswick Winter Birding Day on Saturday, January 13th, 2018.

Participants will meet for this kid-friendly event at the Dallenbach's/Crystal Springs parking lot at 8 am and travel around East Brunswick until 1:pm.

Birders will visit the woodlands, ponds and marshes around town.

One of the highlights is the Edgeboro Landfill: bald eagles are expected, also pipits, tree sparrows, and other wintering raptors, field birds, waterfowl and thousands and thousands of gulls.

Last year the group tallied 45 species, including a few rarities. 

Participants are encouraged to dress warmly and bring their cameras.
