EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ -  When Luke Zorn, a fifth grader at Warnsdorfer Elementary School, earned his "Arrow of Light" as a Cub Scout in East Brunswick's Pack 132, he took it quite literally as a challenge to bring light to darkness.  Zorn, who has aunts, uncles, and cousins in Puerto Rico where there has been no power since Hurricane Maria hit 2 weeks ago, decided he wanted to do something about it.

Zorn has set up collection boxes at local drop-off points in East Brunswick and Milltown so that residents can send "Lights for Puerto Rico."  He is asking that those who wish to donate to bring flashlights, batteries, or candles to the donation areas.  (No glass, please.) After he completes the collection, he hopes to arrange transportation to the island territory as soon as the donations can be accepted.

"This hurricane has destroyed this beautiful island, and they desperately need our help," says Zorn, whose family vacations in Dorado, Puerto Rico.

2) East Brunswick Baseball/Softball complex across from Crystal Springs, by the snack bar

3) Aldersgate Methodist Church on Ryders Lane, church lobby

7) East Brunswick Recreation & Parks Dept office on Dunham's corner

8)Bicentennial Park, Saturdays only during Flag Football by the Food truck (if the truck is not there the box will be by the rest rooms)

As can be said of this Cub Scout's namesake, Luke Sywalker, "The force is strong with this one."
