East Brunswick Lacrosse Closes Season with Loss to South Brunswick

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ -On Jay Doyle Field at East Brunswick High School, the East Brunswick Varsity Bears Lacrosse Team lost to the South Brunswick Vikings 19-7 on Thursday, bringing an end to a season full of tough struggles, stinging defeats, and rousing victories.
 
The Vikings were the more aggressive team throught the game, encourged by early scoring in the first quarter and closing the game with many shots on goal during the final quarter.
 
The Bears rallied in the second quarter, scoring three consecutive goals. Bears goals were scored by Michael Contreras (1) Gregory Walsh (1) Eric Brydbord (1) Thomas Bahmer (2) Matthew Krayowski (1) and Timothy Chen (1.) 
 
South Brunswick's Varsity Team will move on to play Monroe in the Middlesex County GMC series.
