SPOTSWOOD, NJ - The Friends of the Spotswood Public Library are hoping to make the winter season a little warmer for Middlesex County residents this year. The group is spearheading a Sock and Mitten Drive to benefit the more than 400 area families that utilize the Alice's CUP Food Pantry on Main Street in the borough.

Alice's CUP assists any Middlesex County resident or family in need. The pantry relies on donations and volunteers to keep their shelves filled.

The Friends of the Spotswood Public Library are asking for donations of new warm-weather socks, mittens and gloves from now through December 15. All donations will be handed out through Alice's CUP.
