MIDDLESEX, NJ – A Middlesex resident is unharmed after two intruders broke into the residents’ home, ransacked the house and stole the victim’s car. Middlesex Police received a 911 call at 3:42 am from a Starlit Drive resident. The resident reported that her home was entered and that her vehicle was stolen.

Responding officers determined that two male subjects smashed a window on the rear of the home and entered the victim’s residence. The victim, who was asleep in her second floor bedroom, was awakened to find the two intruders standing over her as she lay in bed. No weapons were exhibited and the resident was not threatened or harmed. The intruders ransacked two upstairs bedrooms and removed an undetermined amount of jewelry. One subject ran from the home to a waiting vehicle while the second subject drove off in the victim’s silver colored, 2013 Acura TL.
