Monmouth Council Boys Scouts Of America Calling All Kindergarteners And First Graders

MANALAPAN, NJ - For residents wondering what scouting is all about and if it's a good fit for their son, the Monmouth Council Boy Scouts of America are inviting kindergarteners and first graders to get an up close look at what scouting is all about on Sunday, September 24 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Quail Hill Scout Reservation.

The free, family-friendly event includes games and activities that will give youngsters a first hand look at scouting. Interested participants simply need to register at the Monmouth Council Boys Scouts of America website.

The Monmouth Council Boy Scouts of America sponsors scouting troops in Spotswood, Milltown, Helmetta, Jamesburg, Monroe and East Brunswick in addition to other troops throughout Middlesex County. They are celebrating their one hundredth anniversary this year.

Quail Hill Scout Reservation is located at 56 La Valley Drive in Manalapan.
