SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ – The South Brunswick Girls Lacrosse Team could not keep up with Old Bridge Tuesday, dropping its match 8-5.

After outscoring the Vikings 5-3 in the first half, the Knights added three more in the second period to win the match and improve its record to 6-5 on the season.

Samantha Potts put in four goals to lead the Knights to victory, followed by Erin Handy with two scores.

Lauren LoMenzo led scoring for the Vikings with three goals, and Sarah Saffer scored the other two.

Viking goalie Lizzie Ruedemann had 12 saves on the day, compared with 10 saves for the Knight’s Lucy Tamke.

The Vikings drop to 7-6 for the season.
