SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ – The Lady Vikings took the wind out from beneath the wings of the Edison Eagles Thursday, beating them 2-0 at the high school on Ridge Road.

“I am beyond proud of how the girls played today,” Head Coach Kacy Kelly said in an email following the match. “I was able to work in all of the girls at some point in the match. The girls had good energy and developed a rhythm early on in the first (game), which was carried through to the end of the match.”
Included in the 50 points scored during both games, the Vikings scored nine aces and were led in scoring by Dakota Apicella and Lindsay Szucs, both with six points each.
Another six Viking players had four points each and four other players contributed 1-3 points each in the win.
