SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - The South Brunswick Lady Vikings are back to their winning ways, after defeating rival East Brunswick 17-6 at home on Thursday.
The Lady Vikings lit up the scoreboard in the first half, after outscoring the Bears 10-3. The defense held its ground in the second half, and again only let up three points.
Goaltender, Dakota Apicella had 15 saves on 21 shots. Apicella secured her fifth win in seven games.
Caroline Hvozdovic, put on a show with six goals and six assists.
Emily Lorber was behind her after scoring four goals, and acquiring two assists.
Caitlyn Robertson led the scoring for East Brunswick with two goals.
The South Brunswick Lady Vikings are now at 6-2, and sitting at fourth in the division with a 4-2 divisional record. The Vikings next game will be at Bishop Ahr High School in Edison at 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
