SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ – With three goals and three assists, the lady Vikings Caroline Hvozdovic scored her 200th point at home Monday, as South Brunswick rolled over Edison’s Bishop Ahr 20-2.
Facing a Viking scoring onslaught of 16 points in the first half, the Trojans could only muster a single score.
The strong offense continued in the second half with South Brunswick scoring six times, holding Bishop Ahr to only one more goal.
The Trojans Kimberly Calix and Shelby Lubowicki were the only team members to find the goal during the match.
Meanwhile, the Vikings Briana Gonzales scored five times and had three assists to lead South Brunswick.
Hvozdovic, Lindsey Szucs and Hailey Konopka each scored three times with three assists, Emily Lorber scored twice with two assists, followed by Alyssa Ryan with a score and two assists.
Shannen Sterner, Jill Grzelak and Mary Rohrig also each scored in the victory.
South Brunswick took 26 shots, scoring on most of them, while Ahr could only muster eight total shots in the match, connecting with only two.
Bishop Ahr remains winless at 0-4 while the Vikings rise to 6-2 on the season.
