SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ – The lady Vikings basketball team blew by the Old Bridge Knights at home Tuesday night 58-30 to go to 9-2 on the season.

Amber Brown led the onslaught for the Vikings with 11 points and 10 rebounds followed by Alexis Royal with 10 points and six rebounds.

Leeannah Hunter put up eight points and five rebounds with Alexis Adams and Onoseta Ufuah both adding eight points each with nine and three rebounds respectively.

For the Knights, Amanda Carney had 11 points and Rachel Kuhl put up nine, accounting for 20 of Old Bridge’s total of 30 on the night.

The team blasted Perth Amboy 64-16 on Saturday and just clipped the Edison Eagles 60-59 on Jan. 12.

South Brunswick’s only two losses this year were to Bishop Ahr 47-45 on Jan. 7 and losing to Piscataway 58-43 on Jan. 3.

Brown, a consistent part of the Vikings offense, is now over 1,000 points in her high school career.
