EDISON, NJ – After falling in a shutout earlier in the week to Old Bridge, the South Brunswick Lady Vikings came back with a dominating road win over J.P. Stevens on Saturday, 5-1.

The Vikings scored all five goals in the first half and gave up only one goal to the Hawks in the second period.

Adrianna Mouzakis led the scoring for South Brunswick with two goals, followed by teammates Meghan Hallihan, Francesca Dimitrakis and Cathlene Kaseta with one goal each.

Dimitrakis and Kaseta also contributed an assist each along with Brielle Eder in the winning effort.

South Brunswick goalie Sydney Schneider logged four saves on the day.

Caitlyn Shannon scored the lone Stevens goal and goalie Rhea Telidevara had nine saves.

The Vikings made 15 shots during the game, compared to just five for the Hawks.

The victory is a rebound for the Vikings, losing 3-0 to the Old Bridge Knights in the season opener Thursday.

South Brunswick is now 1-1 and Stevens is 0-2.
