SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ – Two drivers escaped serious injury after a crash on Henderson Road Thursday afternoon.

According to police, the crash took place around 3:30 p.m. in front of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9111 on Henderson Road in the Kendall Park section of the township.

Two cars collided, one of them flipping on its roof in the driveway of the post and shopping plaza.

Both drivers could get out of the vehicles, including the one on its roof, on their own.

The driver of the car that flipped declined medical help at the scene and the other driver went to the hospital for a broken arm, police said.

The crash closed the road for about 20 minutes as Reilly’s Collision Center towed the vehicles from the scene, police said.

An investigation into the crash is continuing.
